Hi there, Thanks for the info on meat substitutes, the video was really helpful in several ways including the reminder focusing on the big picture, calcium, sodium, etc.
I understand its important to avoid most of these fake meats/burgers due to high sodium or TVP. In case listeners were curious after hours looking at sodium of meat alternatives, I found that Quorn Meatless Chicken Pieces or fillet were only about 200 mg salt per serving so perhaps less terrible. Quorn is also soy free.
I was curious what you thought about seitan (wheat gluten based “meat”) and miso paste as a condiment (1tsp) for oxalates. I understand miso soup served in restaurants is not recommended.

Paying attention to sodium is key. Once in awhile these products can be had. Get your calcium needs met.
