Who is Jill Harris?

I am the Kidney Stone Prevention Nurse who, with my mentor Dr. Fred Coe, created the kidney stone prevention guidelines now known as the Kidney Stone Diet®.

Hi, I’m Nurse Jill and I’ve been helping kidney stone patients since 1998. Not only do I help patients, but I’m one myself—diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer in 2014. So when I say I understand how overwhelming and frightening it is to be sick and told to change your diet, I mean it. I’ve lived it and I get it.

That’s why my approach is simple: I break things down into bite-sized, doable steps—with compassion, humor, and zero judgment.

My job isn’t just to teach you the Kidney Stone Diet® (though that’s what I do best) but to help you apply it to your real life. That includes working around diabetes, autoimmune issues, fatty liver, food allergies, sensitivities, and whatever else you’re managing.

Whether it’s reviewing your 24-hour urine results so you can understand what your doctor’s talking about, or showing you how to change your entire eating plan without feeling deprived-I’ve got you.
