Notes

Kidney Stone Diet Safe Tips: I do not usually eat the bun of any burger. BUT. I did here and it was delicious. I like to call this my Thanksgiving Burger, but it is just wonderful anytime. Feel free to use your fav toppings. I like goat cheese because I do not add salt to any of my food and I would rather spend my sodium bucks with cheese. Although the avocado has some oxalate, remember, it is always about portion. Most fruits and veggies are fine to eat when you get your calcium needs met and you don’t overeat the same high oxalate foods day after day. It really is just that simple.

I did not use mustard or ketchup. If you do notice the sodium in each serving. You can always opt for lower sodium condiments next time you go to the store. These burgers have a few grams of fiber too and that comes from the cranberries. Trader Joe’s has a dried cranberry that has no added sugar and lots of fiber. If you don’t have Trader Joe’s by you, no worries. Just pick the dried cranberries that have the lowest sugar. I hope you like this burger! Write and let me know what, if any, changes you made to it, and maybe I’ll make yours next!
